Massachusetts Arms Company manufactured Adams patent revolver with rare U.S. markings and cartouche remaining in very good original condition with considerable original blue finish. This primary Martial revolver is .36 caliber with 6” barrel, checkered wood stocks and serial number 70 on the left side of the frame and 388 on the cylinder. The revolver shows small A. inspection marks probably Ainsworth and two inspector marks on grips, J.T. on left grip and W.A.T on the right grip. The revolver shows approximately 30% to 50% original blue that is evenly drifting and toning to a pleasant patina with some just beginning staining, light erosion and normal age. The markings are sharp, the action is good and the grips are very good plus with sharp checkering and well defined cartouches.
