This sword in scabbard measures 37-3/4 inches long. The scabbard has a red enamel cross, and there is a "32" engraved in the triangle as well. The back of the scabbard is marked with the maker's name of "HARTLEY & GRAHAM - NEW YORK."

The blade has gold highlights and the owners name, "T.O. WALTER," on one side. The other side has a nicely detailed scene of knights and chivalry in the Holy Land. The blade is marked on one side with the maker's name "A.J. PLATE & CO. - SAN FRANCISCO, CAL." And on the other side "SOHNITZLER SOLINGEN - A&A"

The overall condition of this ornate sword is very good and it comes with what looks like the original cover. Although they do not do it justice, be sure to check the pictures.
