Titled: <I>The Constitutions of the Free and Accepted Masons</B></I> , dedicated "To Our Illustrious Brother George Washington", with chapters on the history of the Free Masonry with addresses, prayers, and ceremonies. Leather covers and spine well worn but fully intact and internally sound. Masonic books and other ephemera were closely held by its members, and are hence scarce and highly collectable. This early item identifying Washington as a Mason during the first term of his Presidency is particularly desirable.
