In this lot we have a bicorn hat that comes in a black case. In the middle of the bicorn there is a Freemason cross. The cross is on a black background with gold stitching. The top of the bicorn has white feathers all along the top. The bicorn is meant to be worn with the sides of the hat lined up with the side of your head so that freemason cross is facing forward. The origins of the freemasons supposedly came from France by exiled Jacobites. This bicorn is 16" x 9" x 6" with the case being 20 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 7."
