Williamson was hired by Mary Todd to tutor Willie and Tad, her sons. The letter reads in part, "<I>…Your telegram is received. It may be just as well to let the carriage be sold at auction. Your cards are just right, not too many - 4 full packs. The Express bill says $5.00; the money I will enclose to you & send by Mr. Isaac Arnold…</B></I>" <BR><BR>The letter is in fine condition; usual folds are present; stained along the vertical fold.
