Member of the British royal family; mother of Queen Mary and great-grandmother of Elizabeth II (1833–1897). Two items: one original 5 x 8.25 cabinet photo by C. Jagerspacher of Gmunden, signed on the image in black ink, “Mary Adelaide”; and one ALS signed “Mary Adelaide,” three pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, October 29, 1888, discussing plans and declining an invitation. In overall very good condition, with moderate overall spotting to the image and trimmed edges and light toning to the letter. Accompanied by an original unsigned carte-de-visite of Mary and her husband.
