Former executive director of the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) from 1966-1982. Under Miller's direction, the players' union was transformed into one of the strongest unions in the United States. Two items: color 8 x 10.25 Sports Illustrated magazine photo, signed and inscribed in black ballpoint, “To Del, Good luck with your new book. Marvin Miller, Dec. 1997”; and a ballpoint signature on a 3 x 4 beige bookplate. Scattered creases and wrinkles to photo, otherwise fine condition.
