Twelvemo. 40 pages. One of the better science fiction/horror fanzines with an impressive list of contributors. This inaugural issue features stories by H.P. Lovecraft, Lloyd Eshbach, August Derleth, Natalie Wooley, and David H. Keller<BR><BR>Pale blue pictorial wrappers with black print, stapled. Wrappers are chipped and split along edges where it overhangs the textblock; corners are worn; partially split at spine. Textblock is age toned and leaves are a bit brittle but completely intact. Several small corrections have been accomplished in black throughout <I>Celephais</B></I>, H.P. Lovecraft's story in this issue, which have been attributed to Lovecraft himself, supported by a 1979 letter included in this lot from John H. Stanley of the Brown University Library, affirming his belief that these are indeed Lovecraft's own corrections.
