Martin Van Buren: Rare Silk Campaign Ribbon from 1848. A similar design to one issued in his unsuccessful 1840 run as the Democratic Nominee, it features Van Buren as the free soil candidate, holding scroll reading "FREE SOIL and Freedom of the Public Lands to Actual Settlers". Near mint but for a few scattered utterly trivial small soil marks, mentioned only for the sake of accuracy. Attractively custom framed for display. The ribbon is 2.25" x 6.25", 5" x 9.5" as framed.

Shipping: Framed - with Glass, Small (view shipping information)
