Signed book: Strength To Love. First edition, first printing. NY: Harper and Row, 1963. Hardcover with dustjacket, 6 x 8.5, 146 pages. Signed on the first free end page in blue ballpoint, “Best Wishes, Martin Luther King, Jr.” In fine condition, with a mild strip of toning to signed page, some scattered light wear and creasing to dustjacket, and some light rubbing to spine. Strength to Love was Dr. King’s first volume of sermons, published the same year in which he penned his ‘Letter from a Birmingham Jail,’ joined the historic March on Washington, and delivered his famous ‘I have a dream’ speech.
