Important German philosopher (1889–1976) whose Being and Time was a fundamental text in the development of existentialism. Vintage 3.5 x 5.5 postcard photo of an artist’s rendering of Heidegger, signed in the lower border in blue ink. Heidegger also adds a line of thanks, in German, on the reverse, which reads, “For the good wishes heartily thanked.” In fine condition, with light diagonal bend to lower left corner. Accompanied by two brochures of Heidegger's Gesamtausgabe. RRAuction COA.
