Full hand-addressed free frank, measuring 8.75 x 7.25 unfolded, with panel measuring 4.5 x 3, addressed in Lafayette’s hand to an administrator in Paris, and franked in the lower left “Lafayette.” Frank also retains a majority of its red wax seal at the top. In fine condition, with some light toning and soiling, small tear to top edge, and paper loss to bottom edge from seal.
