Marlon Brando Autograph Wild One Photo
Starting with a stint in the legendary Actor's Studio in 1949, through his first film in "The Men", and then through a series of some of the greatest and most unforgettable performance in American Cinema (including "Streetcar Named Desire", "Viva Zapata!", "On The Waterfront", and of course "The Godfather"), Marlon Brando stands above them all as the titan of Great Actors. Along with James Dean, he changed the entire style of Motion Picture acting, and inspired generations of up and coming stars to follow in his footsteps. This is a rare autograph of Brando, which he signed on one of his most iconic photos in the history of film, as Johnny in "The Wild One" (1953), astride his own 1950 Triumph Thunderbird motorcycle, wearing his famous leather jacket and Pilot's cap. Brando was extremely private, and wasn't one to sign autographs, especially those depicting him from classic movies (when he would sign, he'd rather write on a napkin or slip of paper) which makes this a special Brando collectable. Brando signed this photo in the early 2000's, not long before his death. Originally purchased from Myron Ross, UACC dealer. Comes with a Letter of Provenience.
