Marlin model 1893 trapper’s model, factory 16” barrel, 3/4 magazine, blue and case hardened finish, saddle ring configuration and carbine sights, standard varnish wood stocks, factory hard-rubber buttplate, innear fine condition. Serial #8280. The barrel shows special smokeless steel marking from early turn of the century and approx. 95-98% original bright blue just slightly thinning and aging. The carbine band shows 90% brightblue, some slight scratches. The frame shows 50-70% case hardening drifting to silver with some vivid rainbow colors on the back, top, and thinning on the sides. The stocks are very good plus to near fine with 80-90%original varnish. The action is crisp, the bore is excellent, and the trapper’s model is near fine overall. Marlin trappers models are very rare, especially with 3/4 (special order) magazines and in this high condition.Est: $3,500 - $7,000
