Marlin model 1893, factory engraved special order rifle, 26” octagon barrel, full magazine, takedown frame, checkered deluxe pistol grip stocks, rifle butt, Lyman tang sight, .38-55 caliber, serial #136603. Therifle shows typical original engraving in Ulrich style and the metal surfaces have been expertly restored by Doug Turnbull. The deluxe wood stocks are restored to near excellent and with extra deluxe burl woodgrain. The markings are sharp, edges crisp, bore near mint. Superb restoration showing some aging to the rifle and case hardening. The rifle looks 95% and totally original until examined by an expert very closely.Est: $8,000 - $16,000
