This lot features a Marlin XXX Standard 1872 .32 Rimfire Nickel revolver. The revolver features a 3" barrel, 5 shot cylinder, hard rubber grips, tip up barrel, spur trigger, and nickel finish. About 5,000 XXX Standard revolvers were manufactured by Marlin between 1872 and 1887. This is a great example of a good condition Marlin XXX standard revolver, it shows little wear for its age. The finish has good retention, the grips are absent of any cracking or chipping. The steel barrel has a mellow patina, and the nickel finish is wearing only on the hard edges - exposing the brass frame. The revolver qualifies as an Antique Hand Gun, and does NOT require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check Serial Number: 7131.
