Marlin Model 39-A lever action takedown rifle, .22 Short, Long or Long Rifle caliber, Serial #G3114. The rifle is in overall good to very good condition with a 24” blued barrel, missing its front sight from the dovetail. The barrel andaction retain the majority of their blued finish. The barrel shows some freckling, while the action shows slight surface erosion and the lever moderate surface rust. The smooth wood stocks are in good condition with mars and compressionsconsistent with use and a hard rubber Marlin marked buttplate. The bore is good, action crisp and markings sharp on this Marlin.
