Engraved. Vintage American made pump action shotgun. Features blued finish, checkered walnut stocks with "serpentine" shaped grip bottom, 26" barrel with fixed choke (measures as "IM"), ventilated rubber recoil pad, knurled hammer spur. Bore is bright. Finish has faded in most areas to a brown color, with some bare metal throughout, traces of bright blue on receiver, bolt, some protected areas. Engraving features game bird scenes on sides of bolt, scrolls on sides of receiver, flower petal pattern around serial number. Wood is overall very good condition with much fancy figure. LoP is 13.5", approx 12-5/8" to end of wood. Engraving on Marlin firearms of this period is attributed to Conrad F Ulrich Jr.
