Marlin Model 1888, .38-40 cal. lever action rifle, 24" octagon barrel, full magazine, crescent butt, full blue finish, #20128. The rifle remains in near fine original condition with 80-90% original blue, thinning at high points and edges with some slight beginning toning and minor losses. The edges and markings are super crisp, the sights are original, the lever and hammer show 40-60% original case hardening with some goodrainbow colors. The stocks are exceptional with 90%+ varnish, some slight scratches and just minor handling and storage marks, butt plate shows traces of case hardening; the action is tight, the bore is excellent, andthe rifle has had very little use and been well cared for. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
