Very good. The barrel retains approximately 30% thinning original blue the balance is now a mottled gray patina mostly along high edges. The receiver retains traces of original blue finish the balance is now a mottled gray with some over all handling marks and light surface scratches. The wood is good as period revarnished showing minor pressure marks and dings on the custom checkering is some what smooth. The action is fine.
