Very good. The barrel has a smooth mottled brown patina with scattered traces of the original blue finish. The buttplate has a smooth mottled gray patina. The frame and lever have a silver and dark patina with some of the original casehardening pattern showing and some pin prick type pitting. The wood is very good with a small shallow gouge on the upper right rear of the stock and overall some scattered minor dents and dings. The markings are crisp. The action is excellent.
