Marlene Dietrich's shooting schedule for her pre-code Hollywood film, ''The Scarlet Empress''. Dietrich stars as Catherine the Great in the highly stylized and suggestive drama, directed by Joseph von Sternberg, who launched Dietrich's epic career and crafted her provocative image. Printed document is titled, ''Shooting Schedule''. Mentioned in the heading are the name of the director and Dietrich's character name or possibly the working title, ''Catherine The Great''. Document serves as an overview of production, indicating the shoot dates for each scene and which actors will be on set for any given scene. A notation at upper right by an unknown hand, possibly Dietrich's, reads, ''Just For Fun. - '' and another notation appears in the left margin halfway down the page. Document runs 2pp. on 2 sheets, each measuring 8.5'' x 14''. Creasing, a staple puncture and small stain around the puncture to upper left, else near fine. From the estate of Marlene Dietrich.
