In part: “In answer to your question about fall-out shelters, I think each citizen must make up his own mind about whether he wants one at his home. I can’t help feeling, however, that we should devote our energies to a positive program for winning the Cold War instead of going ‘underground’ with the negative attitude that shelters seem to suggest.” In fine condition, with a mild shade of toning, and intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature.
