<B>Mark Twain [Samuel Clemens] <I>Punch Brother Punch and Other Sketches</B></I></B></I> (New York: Slote, Woodman & Co., 1878), first edition, first issue, 140 pages, (with author's name in Roman type on the title page), 24mo (4" x 5.5"), rebound in cloth boards and leather spine. The overall condition of the binding is poor but the internal pages are in good condition. Though this is the first edition, first issue of this rather scarce Twin work it has been rebound with several Robert G. Ingersoll tracts of the same size. In addition a young critic has liberally marked the first few preliminary pages with random pencil marks.
