<B>Mark Twain, </B></I><B><I>A Double Barrelled Detective Story</B></I></B></I> (New York: Harper and Brothers, 1902), first edition, 179 pages, untrimmed, illustrations, red-cloth binding with gold lettering and decorations, 8vo (8" x 5.25"), mylar dust jacket. This comic mystery, which features Sherlock Holmes solving a mystery in a California mining town, is a Mark Twain delight. Twain appears as a character, alongside such oddballs as Wells-Fargo, Ham Sandwich, and Fetlock Jones!
