<B>Marjorie Main 11" x 14" Photograph by Clarence Sinclair Bull.</B></I> Historians and collectors usually associate the name of Clarence Sinclair Bull with his sumptuous glamorous portraits of MGM's most alluring stars. Was Marjorie Main alluring? Well...no, but she certainly had character, and Bull captures her delightful, no-nonsense personality in this 11" x 14" portrait from <I>Bad Man of Wyoming,</B></I> a 1940 MGM feature in which Marjorie appeared with Wallace Beery. The picture presents Marjorie in "lady blacksmith" attire, and the verso has Bull's stamp and a typed caption. A wonderful study of the actress who later became Hollywood's "Ma Kettle."
