This maritime parallel rolling ruler is 3 in. X 24 in. overall length made by "Theo. Alteneder & Sons Phila. Pa. ". It was not assigned or marked to a vessel and likely owned by the ship's cartographer or navigator. The original carry case is made of red cedar. In excellent condition with all original parts. No model number shown. The rolling rule is also accompanied by an Alteneder 1:63360 scale at 6 in. plus a R.R. Gould 12 in. map reading scale. Please see photos for details.
