Bank check, 6 x 2.5, filled out and signed by Monroe, payable to Dorene Granade for $128.06, December 5, 1951. Matted and framed with a great Halsman photo of Monroe seductively eating a hamburger in her car, to an overall size of 22 x 22.25. The reverse of the photo (originally taken in 1952 and later printed from the negative) bears a Halsman copyright stamp, specifying it as #81 of a limited edition of 250. Cancellation holes lightly affecting portions of signature, staple hole to body, and light show-through from stamps on reverse of check, otherwise fine condition.
