Popular Hollywood ‘Just for Variety’ columnist (1922–2009). Archerd had his own star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame—he was the original ‘Hollywood blogger,’ breaking several big stories of his time. Rare original vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo from 1958 showing Archerd posing alongside a radiant Marilyn Monroe on a balcony at the Beverly Hills Hotel. In fine condition, with a couple scattered creases. Interesting to note that Monroe is wearing the same dress that sold for $348,000 at auction in 2011. Provenance: Army Archerd Estate.
