Freelance photographer who photographed many of Hollywood’s stars during the 1950s and 60s. He is perhaps best known for his work with Marilyn Monroe, however, with whom he was collaborating on a book at the time of her death. Attractive 10 x 8 silver gelatin print of Marilyn frolicking along the surf in Santa Monica in 1962, signed in black felt tip by Barris. This photo was printed between 1962 and 1980 when Barris lived in France, with the verso showing his French copyright stamp. In fine condition.
