<B>Marilyn Monroe Check Written Within 48 Hours of Her Death.</B></I> Offered is an original partly printed check written on August 3, 1962, and made out to "Department of Water & Power." The unsigned check was drawn on Monroe's personal account at the head office of City National Bank of Beverly Hills. Filled in by typewriter, it appears the check was awaiting her signature.
