Typescript proxy agreement produced for Monroe, appointing Robert H. Montgomery and Paul J. Newlon to legally act on behalf of and to vote all shares of Marilyn Monroe Productions Inc. held by Monroe. With an excellent bold ink signature of Monroe and dated. Professionaly framed alongside a photograph of Monroe, with Odyssey Gallery Rare Autographs label to reverse. Marilyn Monroe Productions was formed in January 1955 with 51% of shares belonging to Monroe as President and 49% to her friend and business partner Milton Greene. Within two years their relationship had become strained as Monroe became caught in a power struggle between Greene and her husband Arthur Miller. This agreement signed on 10 April 1957 forms part of the end of the business arrangement and friendship between them, as the following day Monroe issued a public statement accusing Greene of mismanaging the company and began proceedings to force him to resign.
