Marihuana (Roadshow Attractions, 1936). Lobby Card (11" X 14"). Dwain Esper's low-budget exploitation cult classic follows the story of Burma Roberts (AKA "Blondie") played by Harlene Wood and the evil's of "The Weed." Hyped for its "Weird Orgies!, Wild Parties!, and Unleased Passions!," the film was written by Esper's wife Hildegarde Stadie (she also had a cameo role), and was geared for small town audiences. Lobby cards are very scarce and the risque scenes show the brilliance of the advertising campaign. There is a small spot on the bottom right border, and creases on the top left corner, bottom right corner, and left side edge. There are also two stapleholes on the card (upper right and bottom left in background). Very Fine.
