Daughter of Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin who later wrote several memoirs about her father’s life. ALS, two pages, 3 x 4, April 13, no year. Rasputin writes following a few missed meetings. In part, “I am indeed sorry that you were unable to attend my lecture on Sunday. I was also sorry not to have been able to talk to you on Tuesday. I would be so pleased if you would mention me in your column. I am home during the week after seven-thirty, or could see you on Saturday. Thank you for thinking of me. Good wishes to you. Cordially yours, Maria Rasputin.” She adds her address and phone number on the back of the first page. A few areas of ink smudging and a tear along the top border of both pages, passing through a few words of text, otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
