Signed and inscribed on the first free end page, “To Bill, with best wishes, Mari Sandoz, Sept 12, 1963,” adding what appears to be a quick and small landscape sketch under her signature. In fine condition, with pencil notation and a touch of soiling to signed page, erased notation to back pastedown. Dustjacket is price clipped, and shows scattered light wear, creasing and soiling.
