March of Comics #4 (King Features Syndicate, 1947) CGC Apparent VG 4.0 Moderate (P) Off-white to white pages. While this may be the most important issue of March of Comics, it is also a very striking cover depicting Donald Duck pretending to be Napoleon and Mickey Mouse taking his picture. There is some speculation that Walt Kelly drew this cover. The interior artwork is undoubtedly by the Duck Man himself, Carl Barks. This early issue is exceptionally difficult to find in any grade. While this comic may have some moderate professional restoration (including color touch, pieces added, and tear seals) it's still a fabulous looking copy with great eye-appeal. Overstreet 2002 GD 2.0 value = $825; FN 6.0 value = $2,475. Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. Sometimes eBay Premier live bid software cannot keep up with that pace, so we strongly recommend that you place a realistic proxy bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Premier carry a 20% Buyer's Premium.
