This fabulous mid-century ceramic plaque by Marcello Fantoni (1915- ) depicts three men, one seated upon a horse. Signed with the artist's in the lower right corner, along with the work's title and the city name Firenze. Measures 15" by 10.5" by 0.5" and weighs just under 4 lbs. Fantoni and his studio are particularly known for their one-of-a-kind ceramic lamps created for Raymor in the 1950s.
