CHRISTENSEN AGATE COMPANY, Original package. An original Gropper Favorites box. This is the medium size box. The small has the cut-out "C" on it and the large is the green box. This has three cutout ovals in the top. Contains fourteen (14) marbles. Ten (10) are dyed or polished clays. The other four (4) are Christensen Agate two-seam slags. The marbles are Mint. These marbles are original to the box. Christensen Agate sold boxes of polished clays (probably purchased from Albright) early in their existence. According to the son of the man who cleared out the Christensen Agate building when it was sold, there were several barrels of dyed clays in the warehouse, as well as clays scattered on the ground. The marbles are Mint. The box is in exceptional condition, given the age. There are no tears in the ovals or at the flaps. One tab is partially detached. The box is Mint. Cambridge OH, circa 1927.
