Marble Replica of the Arc De Titus, from the Proctor estate, Silver City. The Arch of Titus is a 1st-century honorific arch located on the Via Sacra, Rome. It was constructed in 82 AD by the Roman Emperor Domitian shortly after the death of his older brother Titus to commemorate Titus' victories, including the Siege of Jerusalem. This marble reproduction is intricately detailed and has a marble base as well. The Arch of Titus is the general model for many of the triumphal arches erected since the 16th century. It was the inspiration for the 1806 Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France. This replica has been repaired at the arch, weighs 35 pounds and measures approx. 14''H x 10''W, including large Marble Base. The Arc measures approx. 9"W x 9 3/4"H x 3 3/4"D. The Repaired at the Arc on one side, missing a chip of outer marble approx. 2x3"..
