English text. The David Baker Library. Fine. This is a vintage National Geographic map from 1992 that was included with the February 1992 issue of the magazine. One side of the map has a series of maps and charts of major historic and special areas of Spanish conquest and colonization of the Americas, with many side-bars about explorers and conquerors. The other side of the map is titled "The Grand Exchange," and is a map-chart about commerce between the Americas and Europe and Africa during the Spanish colonial period. Lot weight: 0 lbs 2oz. If buyer does not supply a Florida resale certificate, then Florida sales tax will apply as follows: If picked up in person, 6.5% will be added to the total (hammer plus buyer’s fee). Same applies to lots shipped to Florida addresses, but the rate (6% to 8.5%) will be according to county of delivery. There is no Florida sales tax on any lots shipped out of state.

Shipping Details:
Lot pickup will be available after the sale (not during). Any lots not picked up in person (unless other arrangements are made) will be sent to Buyer via U.S. Mail when the invoice has been paid in full. All domestic shipments will carry full insurance, but foreign shipments are made at the Buyer’s risk (insurance available in some cases). Workman's Books is responsible for loss or damage to lots only up until they are received at the address to which they are sent; any transshipment from there is the buyer’s responsibility alone. Any special instructions for shipping, delivery or payment must be in writing (letter, email or text) and will be effective only upon confirmation by us (verbal requests may not be honored). Generally, lots will be shipped in the order in which they are paid.
Payment Details:
Please make checks payable to Alan Workman. All checks must be payable in U.S. dollars drawn on U.S. banks. Items paid for by personal or business check subject to 10-business-day waiting period from date of deposit before shipment to allow for bank clearance. Payment must be postmarked by due date or interest will accrue at a rate of 2% monthly, calculated from invoice date. RETURNS (within sale terms) accepted within 30 days of shipment—all sales final after 30 days! Returns will not be accepted on merchandise that has been altered or damaged after shipment. Customer assumes risk and expense of shipment of returns. A 20% Buyer’s Fee is added to the winning bid amount for each lot. There will be a $3.00 charge per lot for processing. If you pay by credit card, a 3% surcharge will be added to the total. If you pay by PayPal, a 4% surcharge will be added to the total. Thank You!
