Manufrance ideal grade number 2 – R, 12gauge double-barreled shotgun with release mounted in rear of trigger guard serial number 44325. The gun shows 2 ½ inch proofs for smokeless powder and St. Etienne markings and whatappears to be a 1932 date. The gun remains in original good condition showing 50% to 70% thinning blue on barrel , retaining traces of case coloring within a great patina on the frame, lightly refinished stock missing buttplate and sling winding mechanism that is normally found in the butt stock. The action locks tight and the bore is our good with some areas of slight roughness. The gun is choked modified right, full left with 25 ½inch barrels and 42 inches over all. Highly regarded in France as a hunting gun. Est. $600 - $1200
