French composer and conductor (1904-2003), best remembered for his 1938 ballet Gaîté Parisienne. Vintage glossy 10 x 8 photo of Rosenthal at a piano, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Mr. J. Willis Sayre, friendly, M. Rosenthal.” Scattered surface marks and creases, creasing to the upper right, and some irregular adhesion to the signature, otherwise fine condition.
