Three Manned Flight Awareness certificates and medallions from Apollo missions 8 and 11 and the Apollo Soyuz Test Project: the Apollo 8 aluminum medallion, 1.5è diameter, the first issued by the Manned Flight Awareness program, is affixed to a color 8 x 10.5 certificate with a printed signature of Frank Borman; an Apollo 11 Manned Flight Awareness certificate, 11 x 8.5, presenting an ‰ÛÏApollo 11 Medallion‰Û to Louis Schnider, dated December 20, 1971, accompanied by the referenced medal, 1.25è diameter, with text on reverse stating ‰ÛÏThis Medallion contains metal from spacecrafts Columbia and Eagle, that took astronauts Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins on their historic Apollo 11 mission that resulted in the first landing of man on the Moon‰Û; and a color ‰ÛÏASTP Award‰Û in English and Cyrillic, presenting to Maggie L. Starke an included Manned Flight Awareness medallion, 1.5è in diameter, with the reverse stating: ‰ÛÏThis medallion contains metal from both Apollo and Soyuz that joined together in the first International manned space mission on July 15-24, 1975.‰Û In overall fine condition.
