Unless additonal information has been noted, all items have some amount of acceptable wear, scratches, nicks, missing beads or stiches, etc. for their age. All braclets are inside measurements plus width. All framed art measurements are visual. Multiple items have length of longest or largest only.
Manhattan Arms Civil War Navy Revolver, caliber 36 Navy Serial No. 8438, Circa 1859. This cap and ball pistol was carried through the American Civil War in this original period holster. All markings are visible with a nice cylinder scene. All matching numbers with an excellent bore. The edges are all still sharp with the finish having turned gray over the past 151 years. The Manhattan Navy Revolver was carried by many Union officers as a smaller version of the Colt Model 1851 Navy pistol. The Manhattan pistol was carried West after 1865 by the pioneers.
