Manhattan 2nd Model Pocket Revolver, #1471, .22 RF cal., 3-1/8'' lightly factory engraved blue barrel assembly with Germanic scroll motif, 7-shot matching cylinder showing Indian and settler scene measures 13/16'' overall, with 14 cylinder notches; silver-plated brass frame, rosewood grips. Mfg'd 1868-1873. Condition is very good with barrel assembly retaining approx. 30%-40% blue. Frame shows 60%-70% light silver plating, with most of the losses to the rear portion of the right side of frame. Hammer retains approx. 60%-70% vivid case colored tones with thinning in actioning areas. Cylinder scene remains crisp and vivid. Grips retain approx. 60% of their original lacquer. Action is crisp, bore is very good with some light patches of corrosion that should clean. Est.: $400-$600. (Antique)
