Manhattan .22 caliber 7-shot revolver, blue and silver finish, factory engraved, rosewood grips, serial #7258. 1st model, 4th variation. Refer Flayderman: 5C-019. The barrel and cylinder show 75-85% original blue finish showing evenly drifting and toning with very good markings at the rear breech of the barrel in a circular type relief stamp. The frame shows 90-95% darkened original silver plate. The bore is slightly rough. The pistol is contained within its original to the period gutta percha case with small Manhattan pistols around the outside and a geometric design at the center. The case is line in purple velveteen and is slightlydifferent in the fact that it is made without a cartridge block and it is French recessed in the opposite direction and is cased with a box of cartridges. The interior the case is very good plus with some minor impressions,the exterior is a reddish brown color with some chips at the edges but at least very good. Est: $2,250 - $4,500
