Manchester Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway HANDLAMP with a triple pie-crust top and brass-plated "Manchester Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway. Cuddington For Winsford Junction". A small oval brass plate is lettered "G. Hildred. Ironmonger & Tinsmith, Hainton Square, Grimsby". Correct style reservoir, burner and reflector. In fine, original condition. Note Cuddington station, on the Northwich-Chester line, was the junction for the Winsford branch. It opened in 1870.
