D.S. 1p. Large partly printed form, to be filled out by the probate judge, listing “ Convicts sentenced to hard labor for Lauderdale County , Alabama”. For the three months period ending April 2nd, 1885. Apparently Lauderdale County was experiencing something of a labor shortage at the time. One individual “Archie Kelly” was listed as being sentenced during that period, set at forced labor for : “ Milner Coal & Iron Co.” for twenty days. Archival tape repair on verso at folds.
