Make it yours! US coinage

Auction Details

Make it yours!....Heads, it’s Lincoln; tails, it’s Lincoln....
The Lincoln cent (1959 to 2007) featured this beloved president on both sides of the coin. On the obverse, we see his face in profile; on the reverse, he is seated in the Lincoln Memorial. However, the coin does carry the initials of two different engravers.
Why did the Indian Head cent make way for the Lincoln penny in 1909? To commemorate Honest Abe’s 100th birthday. The Lincoln Memorial on the back was added for his 150th in 1959.
