A comprehensive collection of Russian and American postcards and envelopes, which were partly stamped and franked for the ‘news from space’ in the space!

A comprehensive collection of Russian and American postcards and envelopes, which were partly stamped and franked for the ‘news from space’ in the space! Additionally, this collection possesses an envelope with the signatures of the cosmonauts Volkov and Krikalev as well as other unreadable signatures. A New Year’s greeting card (without a date) is dedicated to Ivan Grigorievich and signed by various cosmonauts such as Leonov, Popovich and others.

Included is also a large variety of illustartions and stamps of the USSR and Russia, as well as some US-American space cards. Spacemen used these to take them on the spacecraft into space and then to return to earth with ‘news from space’. An exciting collection that is certainly worth a closer look for still undiscovered cards.



The collection is in good condition with traces of age and wear. The dimensions are max. 12 x 30 cm.
